This past Fall, Pam became a part of the TWB family. She started the program with a can-do attitude and was always willing to go the extra mile, whether it was helping with farmer’s markets and showcasing her amazing sales tactics or staying late to get orders filled. Her story is one of empowerment, and we are lucky to be a part of it! Read […]
Adria started at TWB in the fall with her mask on and walls up. Being open and vulnerable with a group of women she just met was a challenge, and Adria found it more comfortable to put on a tough front that made it seem like nothing bothered her. As our 8-week program came to an end, Adria was a completely different person. She was […]

Shawn is the most thoughtful, kind, caring woman. She started our program in the Fall shy and timid, hyper-aware to what others were thinking about her; but by the time graduation rolled along, she was out of her shell, sharing her smiles and positivity, and she found her confidence. We are so lucky to continue experiencing her light when she volunteers her time in the […]

She found a sisterhood and support network through TWB and new-found self-esteem. Dana not only thrived in the kitchen, but also in empowerment groups, where she was able to be vulnerable and allowed others to share their vulnerability with her. Right […]

In 2017 we raised over $3,000 to help cover transportation costs. […]

Jeanette is an amazing woman, but she hasn’t always believed this to be true. When she came to TWB her self confidence was very low and she was unsure of herself. Through hard work and a lot of introspection, Jeanette began to see and believe in her worth. She is a dedicated mom who is working hard to be a great role model for her children. […]
Dayo is a woman who is unstoppable. Her strength and resilience are incredible. She has struggled and experienced homelessness for the past several years. She is still trying to find her way and unfortunately due to her age and health issues has […]
