Volunteer Opportunity: Labeling

Another Volunteer Night is upon us! Come help Together We Bake prepare for a busy holiday season by labeling packaging on Tuesday, November 12th, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Downtown Baptist Church. There will also be an opportunity to be trained as a TWB Ambassador.

Founded in 2012, Together We Bake is a job training program to help women within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in need - women involved in the criminal justice system, facing long-term unemployment, and/or experiencing homelessness. Together We Bake’s mission is to help women gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience which will allow them to find sustainable employment and move toward self-sufficiency.
