Volunteer Opportunity: Old Town Arts and Crafts Festival

July 27 @ 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

Volunteer with Together We Bake at the Old Town Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday, July 27th, from 10 am – 6 pm. We split this opportunity into three separate shifts: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm, and 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm, with 2-3 people at each shift.

This is a fun way to get involved and give back to our community!

Founded in 2012, Together We Bake is a job training program to help women within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in need - women involved in the criminal justice system, facing long-term unemployment, and/or experiencing homelessness. Together We Bake’s mission is to help women gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience which will allow them to find sustainable employment and move toward self-sufficiency.
